Membership

Membership is open to surgeons, trainees and theatre teams working in robotic surgery, in any specialty. The board reviews every application.

Full member

Consultants, professors and lecturers in any surgical specialty who work in, or are developing, robotic surgery.

Apply as a full member

Associate member

Residents, assistant lecturers and fellows in training who want to learn robotic surgery.

Apply as an associate member

Affiliate member

Theatre nurses, anaesthetists, biomedical engineers and robotic coordinators who are part of robotic teams.

Apply as an affiliate member

International member

Surgeons who are not Egyptian nationals and want to take part in the society's programmes.

How to join

    Choose your membership type

    Full, associate, affiliate or international, depending on your role.

    Fill in the online form

    Your personal and professional details and your robotic experience. It takes about 10 minutes.

    Upload your documents

    Your CV, highest degree certificate and syndicate card or licence.

  4. 4

    The board reviews your application

    We contact you by email or phone with the decision.

  5. 5

    Pay the membership fee

    Once you are approved, we send you the fee and how to pay. Your membership starts when payment is confirmed.

Fees

Membership fees will be announced by the board. There is nothing to pay when you apply: approved applicants receive the fee and payment details by email or WhatsApp.

Questions

Which documents do I need?

Your CV, your highest degree certificate and your syndicate card or practising licence, as PDFs or clear photos. A personal photo is optional.

I am not a urologist. Can I join?

Yes. ESRS is a society for robotic surgery in every specialty.

I have no robotic experience yet. Can I apply?

Yes. Choose “Interested” in the robotic experience part of the form.

Who reviews my application?

The ESRS secretariat checks your documents and the board reviews the application. We contact you by email or phone with the decision.
